Lisa Pierce - Public Relations/Social Media Representative

Lisa has been volunteering with the Lions Club since 2018 when she took over the Mercersburg Lions

Club Facebook account. At the time, her husband, Don, had been a member for some time, and their

son Matt had joined after completing 5 yrs. in the US Marine Corps. Lisa had been supporting Don in

many facets of his Lions Club duties and continued to be more and more involved, leading to becoming a

member in 2022.

“The friendships and club accomplishments and service to our local community are what make this

commitment so rewarding. In addition, we have a great community of individuals and businesses that

have been so supportive of our club and that is rewarding in itself. I am excited for what’s to come with

the Community Park upgrades and am glad I will be part of that accomplishment.”

Lisa and her husband, fellow Lion, Don, moved to Mercersburg in 1991 and have raised their two

children here. Lisa’s background is in accounting and is currently working for 3 local businesses. Her

past experience has been varied – working for non-profits, large corporations, and small family-owned

businesses. Lisa enjoys photography, hiking, exploring new places, and meeting friends for coffee at

One North.
